Accidentally installed intel update and overrode OEM UHD graphics 620 driver. Nolonger working properly
Yesterday Intel driver & support assist installed Intel Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers version 27.20.100.8280 and overrode Dell's Driver version 26.20.100.7463. It stated that installing the Intel generic driver rewrote some of the Dell specific settings and now when I play games on my Inspiron 3583, still framed graphics are choppy and pixelated. The game I am playing is the Sims 4. Prior to this update the UI in game was smooth and so was the gameplay itself including still graphics such as picture frames on a wall. Since the update, the UI is smooth and the gameplay is smooth but only when the frame is moving. Once you stop moving the screen around, any straight lines become choppy and the graphics look old. When I go to device manager and to the intel driver then properties, in the events log it states: Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3EA0&SUBSYS_08CA1028&REV_02\3&11583659&0&10 had a problem starting.

Prior to this accidental update, the event log stated is was working properly. Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3EA0&SUBSYS_08CA1028&REV_02\3&11583659&0&10 was started.

I have tried to go to dells website and reinstall the old drivers but the same issue persists. I have run Dell's issue detector and it says everythings working fine but clearly its not. I have tried system restore over a dozen times and it will not let me restore my system to an earlier point where everything was working fine. Ive tried turning off antivirus and starting in safe mode and it just wont restore.
Before Intel graphics update: Banister lines are smooth
normal Banister before Intel update
After Intel graphics update: Banister lines are choppy!
Choppy Banister after Intel update
Does anyone have any insight on how I can fix this issue or where the issue lies?
Thank you in advance.
