Battery Plugged in not charging
My dell inspiron 5520 model battery is showing as plugged in, but not charging.
while powering on system says unable to find battery, asking to continue without battery.
tried reseat the battery, uninstalling the drivers, still didnt work.
can anyone help me with this ?

The battery has probably died. You will not be able to find a new genuine Dell battery on your old model, so use it as is until you can buy a new laptop. Batteries must come from Dell or a trusted Dell parts provider. Do not buy from any marketplace like Ebay or Amazon or any private seller--too many scams. See this-

In my case
I did put another battery, laptop was working but still not charging.
So I gather problem is not with battery.

Go into Setup (F2 at powerup). Is the AC adapter listed with its power rating, or does it show " unknown" or "not connected"?
