Bluetooth and Wifi not working

I use an Inspiron 15R 5537 and suddenly my wifi and Bluetooth are not working.

I am able to connect to the internet using the LAN cable.

I have tried a lot of suggestions from the forum, but nothing seems to work.

The wifi option is not showing up in the setting window.

The network adaptors are all having the latest drivers.

However, I noticed that the Wifi + Bluetooth Driver was missing so I tried updating it, but I keep getting the error message: The update installer option is unsuccessful.

I have also done an in-place Windows 10 upgrade. Even that does not seem to help.

Please help me with a solution to this.

Have you installed the latest chipset drivers? You might try the  Intel IO driver that effects many hardware items.

You could try to Reseat your WiFi BT card this sometimes will help. After doing this you will also know how to replace it with a new Card.

To get this information you need to log on to support, enter your model number and most importantly Enter your Service Tag Number.

That will open all the hardware information on your Particular notebook, You should download and read your Service Manual there you will find out how to open your notebook There will be a section on replacing your Wi-Fi Card

The Download section will have all the Dell provided hardware drivers and software.

Finally I got this resolved on my Inspiron.  Basically running the full boot-up diagnostics fixed things - possibly it touched a register somewhere and reactivated Bluetooth.
