Continuous Amber Flashing of Battery LED Indicator
Hello,
My Battery Indicator light is constantly blinking in orange. In BIOS Settings, my AC Adapter is detected and I can see that my Battery Charge is at 93% (Plugged In).
But as soon as I remove my AC Adapter, the laptop switches off. My Battery does give reasonable life like around 2+hours after a full charge and I don't drain my battery too much as well.
What can I do to fix this issue ? I tried reseating the battery etc. Doesn't seem to work.
Please do help me out with this.

What model system, and how old is the battery? The flashing indicates the battery has at least one faulty internal cell -- and if it's a 3-cell battery, that cuts 1/3 of its capacity immediately, which could easily result in shutdown.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron - 15 (i3-Processor). The laptop is 5 years old. And I've not replaced the battery since I purchased the laptop.

It's time for a new battery -- yours is on the way to the recycling pile.

Yes, I've ordered a brand new battery. Will check with it and get back.
