DELL Inspiron 3593 throttling issues
I cant play games on my laptop because the cpu is throttling to lower than 1 Ghz right after i open any game. I installed throttlestop and it said the reason of throttling is PL1 and thermal, the cpu hits 100 degrees celsius while gaming and the frequency is 3ghz, it stays like that a few seconds then it starts throttling to 0.6ghz or so. I tried getting a cooling pad (it got 4 fans) but still the same temperatures and the throttling is still happening, i dont know what else to do, i just got the laptop, should i return it or its not a factory problem?
My DELL Inspiron 3593 laptop specs:
i5-1035g1
8gb ram ddr4 (2667 mhz)
Nvidia geforce mx230 gddr5 2gb
500gb ssd

One big thing to do is disable the turbo boost - running that CPU at 3+ GHz is likely a big part of why it's throttling.
The other thing to consider is the level of gaming you have planned. You just can't expect much in the way of gaming from a $500 budget notebook like this one. If you're going to be gaming for any prolonged periods, you need a system that's got a more robust cooling setup -- and will likely need to double if not triple your budget, as you're just not going to find sub-$1,000 systems capable of extended gaming.

In ThrottleStop I set turbo ratio limits for all core at 20 and decreased CPU and CPU cache voltage at -0.703. Now it' runs Assassin's creed syndicate and Fifa 19 at low settings, without this kind of undercklocking both games was unplayable because of throttling.
