DELL Inspiron Served Well

I had my Inspiron 7572, i5, customized, 15" for 4 years and 3 months, when the SSD HD went Capoot.  It was not upgradeable to WIN 11, as did not meet the requirements.  I have a couple other laptops that don't meet the requirements for WIN 11, but have WIN 10, 21H2, with one at the 7+ year old mark with spinning HD.  I did have a previous 15" ASUS, i5, that lasted 3 years+ with spinning HD, and has a failure somewhere in some section, but still operates in a slower manner.  One of the things I am good about is running Malwarebytes on a regular basis, and anytime there is a MS weekly update, I run Disk Cleanup.  I have had several 15" DELLs,  dating back to 1992.  I would replace due to newer Intel generation chips/memory....etc.

Recently, to replace my Inspiron, I went with a customized HP having WIN 11.  There is a two week build and ship, but supposed to have within a 2 week period.  We will see.  

I have enjoyed this DELL community with the help that is given to others.  I have always been interested in electronics and at one time was a components buyer for some years.  I know, due to improper safeguards in PC board assembly, component failures can be expected down the road.  Even when some individual electronic components are not ESD packaged/handled, when received prior to board assembly.  Then the handling, non safeguards, when components are with drawn from inventory, to go to assembly.  There can be numerous factors, why your electronic devise did not last as long as you would have liked.  Myself, if you get 3+ years from your computer, w/o any failures, that build was spot on.....these days.  

Also, always check for any Malware on a regular bases.
