Dell G15 5510 mosfet replacement - Help
Hello guys.
I´ve found for several weeks with no luck. My Dell G15 5510 died. An electronic technician identified the part as dead mosfet.
The chip say AL00 1H26, i´ve looked over several combinations and no luck. Anyone might know a place to find this mosfet or how to know the specifications?.

Unless you live in southeast China, sourcing a part won't be easy. And even if you can find the part (the most common way repair shops obtain these is from donor boards that failed of other causes), you have no way to know whether just that one IC is the only fault, or whether it failed because some other part(s) also failed -- you can easily wind up chasing a very expensive repair.
Given that a technician capable of replacing the part properly would charge an appreciable per-hour labor rate, it won't take long before the sure option makes more sense: replace the system board.

As a matter of fact my electrical technian is 101% sure that the culprit is this AL00 1H26 mosfet. It is so disappointing that Dell could not share the specification of this mosfet.
The technician was able to turn on the PC after removing the faulty mosfet but I won´t use it until I manage to see. I´ve contacted several people back in India and currently two guys in Singapur that will be looking for this mosfet if they can find it.
Dell should share the specification datasheet ot this mosfet to the customers or at least mention which other motherboard can have the parts so we can find a feasible solutions.
I´ve seen several forums where people complains of bad electronical and heat quality on dell laptops and the support is zero.

You'll find the same complaints about HP, Apple, Lenovo, etc. notebooks. They're all designed and built by the same pool of contractors -- and if you know of a major notebook manufacturer that provides repair schematics for its boards to the general public, do tell -- it's news to everyone.
This being a relatively new system, I don't see any evident sources of schematics for it. Many of the other G series systems are built by Wistron -- you can check to see if another system uses a similar board layout or search by that name. As for the technician's opinion, it may or may not be valid -- it may be that MOSFET simply failed -- or it may be there is some other fault on the board that caused it to fail (and would cause a replacement to fail as well). Given that a single repair attempt could cost several hundred dollars to accomplish, it doesn't take much trial and error to add up to more than the cost of a replacement board.
Even under normal circumstances these components aren't readily available -- in current times with all sorts of chip shortages, they're even less available. Suppliers are in the business of supplying them in the tens of thousands -- not in single units.
