Dell G5 5590 battery doesn't work
Hi,
My G5 5590 have 16 months. Since few days, the laptop doesn't work on battery mode. It work's well anyway, my battery is charging, but if I disconnect my AC Adapter the laptop shutdown and it's not possible to turn off without the AC Adapter.
In BIOS setting, I can read :
Primary Battery : 76%
"Idle battery need to be replaced"
If I change the battery, am I sure the new one will work? 76% it's not that worn out !

hi
battery life is about 2 years on a good use
for your case of 16months is relative a good time to replace before
it heats up and creates a bulge on your laptop
do accept and kudos if okay ...

Is it security parameter that battery stop working ?
