Dell G7 7500 internal webcam dead Error code 2000-0415 validation code 73146 Polyfuse cable status OCP Fuse 2 fault detected
I have a G7 7500 running Windows 10 Home and my internal webcam stopped working at the beginning of February (of course my service contract ended 1/26/2022)
The Camera does not show at all in the Device Manager and is not detected if I try to scan for hardware
Pre-Boot System check Diagnostics run returns:
Error Code 2000-0415 Validation code 73146
Check the following cable, jumper, connection, polyfuse, or censor: OCP Fuse 2
System Logs show 2/3/2022 11:02:57 Alert! OCP Fuse 2 fault detected
From SupportAssist On-Board Diagnostics:
polyfuse Cable Status OCP Fuse 2 Fault Detected
From BIOS Setup
Integrated Devices - Enable Camera is checked
So - it seems to me something has come loose internally. I cannot find any schematic that tells me what I am looking for if I open the case to fix it.
Any advice? Any pointers on where to find more info?

I have the same problem! My system is an XPS 16 9640, brand new. No idea how to fix or what function is impacted. Also it's intermittent. Sometimes the test comes up clean.
