Dell Inspiron 11 3168 Screen Bezel Getting HOT
I have a Dell Inspiron 11 3168 (2-in-1) that is overheating near the bottom right corner of the screen bezel (when viewed from the front). I popped open the screen bezel and powered it on to be able to see specifically which component was generating the heat and it was this yellow portion (the inverter?) The yellow piece gets SCORCHING HOT when the display is on.
Is this piece something that can be easily/cost effectively replaced (not really willing to put much more than. $50-75 into the repair) or will it require replacement of the entire touchscreen LCD and digitizer?
Note: the touchscreen capability of the laptop seems to not be working at all, but the display seems to work fine with the exception of the extreme amount t of heat being generated.
Thank you in advance!
