Eu tenho um notebook Dell Inspiron 14 3442, com um I5 4210U, 8GB RAM e GeForce 820M.
Esta configuração está começando a ficar ultrapassada para os jogos atuais, por isso gostaria de saber se há a possibillidade de realizar upgrades neste laptop. Se houver, quais são?

Sorry but the only thing that can be upgraded on that model laptop is memory.
The CPU and GPU are soldered to the system board.
And the max is 8GB that you already have installed.
