Dell Inspiron-15 5570 Battery Replacement and Fingerprint Sensor

I am using Inspiron-15 5570 laptop since 2017. It was working wonderfully until last year. Last year, around the same time (September-October 2019), I noticed that the battery of my device is not working efficiently as before. It completely drains out very quickly. After a full charge, the battery loses 5% in every 1 minute. In this way, it completely drains out in about 30 minutes. I am unable to figure out the cause of such a sudden deterioration in battery performance. Is it possible to replace the battery of my laptop model (Inspiron-15 5570) with a new one? Where can I get a replacement battery? If the battery replacement option is unavailable, what is the possible solution to my problem?

I also faced a problem with my fingerprint sensor. Same time around as above (perhaps due to some windows feature update), my fingerprint sensor stopped working. I had been using it since I bought the laptop and now it says that the feature is not supported. The default fingerprint driver (Goodix Fingerprint Driver) is working perfectly fine, and I tried reinstalling it several times. But it just does not get fixed. How can I make it start working again?

The battery has aged to the point where it needs to be replaced.

OEM battery source if you're in the US:

Some ideas for the fingerprint reader issue:

It must be a new genuine Dell battery. Dell is out of stock for that model. Get it here:

You can also remove the battery and use the adapter alone if you don't mine the immobility of a desktop replacement.

Stay away from online sellers. Lots of scams with batteries.
