Dell Inspiron 15 7000 GAMING key replacement

Question

Hey, I broke the f12 key on my boyfriend’s Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop (black backlit keyboard)

I have been looking to replace it but I can’t find any keys labelled as being for the “gaming” version of the laptop.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I want to fix it as one of his birthday surprises in a few weeks time.

We need the model number to answer -- 7335, 5565, etc.

Under the key there should be a plastic two piece " X " axis's hinge and a rubber nipple.

Are they still in place and undamaged as far as you can tell???

If they are then just place the key centered over the slot and press the key down gently until it snaps back into place.

Did you ever get an answer?  I am having same issue with same computer. Daughter broke the X key right down middle but the latch underneath appears fine. Model is 7577 I think. Looking for a replacement key for the gaming laptop
