Dell Inspiron 1700
I replaced my battery two weeks ago. Everything has been working fine after replacement. I just wiped my computer down to clean, now the volume button acts as if it is stuck(f3). It appears to be normal on the keyboard though. I read something about the audio port being pinched by the cover, I removed my cover and I have the same issue. Seems like a bad design by dell. Has anyone had this issue? How do you fix the problem? Thanks.

What did you wipe it down with? You should respond to the Dell Cares rep for help.

I used a dry cloth. I can’t find where private messages are on this website...
