Dell Inspiron 3558 Keyboard(s) Some Keys Not Working

My niece asked me if I could try to fix the keyboard on her Dell Inspiron 3558,
It is no longer under warranty.
I followed the professional video of removing and replacing the keyboard.

I purchased a new keyboard and carefully replaced it. The same exact keys didn't work on both keyboards. I did try re-seating the cable on both keyboards before and after replacement.

Here are the keys that don't work...  (on both keyboards)
PrtScr, PgDn
a, s, d, f, j, k, l, ;:    & (keyboard) enter key
7 9 5 6 2  and enter - (on the numeric keypad.)
Spacebar, & (right) Ctrl,
left arrow, down arrow, & right arrow

It is baffling to me why both keyboards would have the same non working keys. Any help with what I can do to fix this would be greatly appreciated. The computer works fine, and she is willing to put a bit of money into it (I'll just buy her the parts at no charge)  to avoid having to get a whole new laptop. What part do you think I need to repair it?

A USB Keyboard does work, with all the keys working, even in the setup page. But it would be nice to not have to use a USB keyboard and just use the laptop keyboard.

I did not get it solved. I emailed Dell and never got any kind of reply. I tried 3 times and they haven't replied. That's the one thing about Dell, I like their products, but I really don't appreciate them ignoring me when I take the time to be very specific asking them a question. It has happened about 5 times in my quest for help from them. They have never ever gotten back to me on anything. I will be purchasing NOT Dell for my next laptop just because of their lack of care in providing help.

Good luck in solving this. If you do, please let me know. Thanks.
