Dell Inspiron 5558 CPU upgrade
Hello,
I have a dell Inspiron 5558 with intel core i5-5200U at 2.20GHz
I want to upgrade the CPU by replacing the processor without replacing the motherboard.
what is your recommendation?

What you want to do is not possible; the CPU is soldered and not replaceable. Even if you do replace the board, note that you'll end up with a faster i5 or i7 version of the same generation of CPU -- nothing newer is available.

You'll have to search locally, but expect the cost for a board to exceed the value of the system; you're better off putting the funds toward a new(er) system.
