Dell Inspiron 5558 beeps

This problem has occured twice and does not persist after restart.

My laptop started beeping when I powered it on, I believe it was a 4-5 beeps code.

However, it turned on normally and the sound stopped after I restarted.

This has happened 3 weeks ago too.

Should I contact a technician?

If it hasn't come back, likely not.  Four beeps is a memory error -- five means you have a low CMOS/reserve battery.

You can try powering off, disconnecting the AC adapter and the battery from the system board, holding the power button for 30 sec, removing and reinstalling the memory module(s).  You may want to replace the CMOS battery if the five beep code returns.
