Dell Inspiron SATA Ports
Hi all, I was looking through the UEFI of my laptop, and stumbled across the SATA settings asking to disable/enable SATA ports. I took a look, and realised there were 3 ports: 0: M.2 NVMe, 1: SATA, 2: SATA.
I did not realise i had 2 SATA ports, but looked around and could not find any. Does anyone have any idea if port 2 is accessible? Or is it just a BIOS thing? My model number is Inspiron 14 5480, non-touch, i7 8565U, 128GB M.2 SSD and 1TB HDD. Thanks in advance!

You can have a 2.5" SATA drive and an M.2 NVMe SSD but there is not a 2nd SATA drive bay available.

From an employee, the SATA Port 2 was originally intended for the CD Drive which may or may not be shipped with your laptop. If it was not, you can just ignore it.
