Dell Inspiron running slow even after reinstalling windows.

I have done all the suggested tune ups, deleted anything that may be big and taking up space, I’ve ran programs for malware and found none, and I’ve reinstalled windows. It takes at least 5 minutes for the computer to do anything. If I try to move the cursor it takes a full minute before it finally moves across the page. It takes forever for websites to open. It takes forever just to get a sentence typed. I don’t know what to do. I bought this through my college book store and it was fine for a week. I can’t afford a new one.

Do you have the one that has the 32 GB eMMC hard drive?

If so, these models don't exactly have the fastest CPU. They are mainly to be used for just browsing the internet.

Also, after reinstalling Windows, you are suppose to install the drivers starting with the chipset.

And even if you do install Windows 10 using the USB created by the Media Creation Tool, Windows 10 will go online and start downloading updates. This can take a while.
