Dell Laptop Touch screen intermittently stops working
Dell laptop touchscreen intermittently stops working. I'm able to turn it back on by going to device manager, human input devices, HC compliant touchscreen, and disabling the driver, then enabling it again. But this is happening multiple times in a day and the screen often out on me when I'm in the middle of a game, which is extremely annoying because by time I realize it's stopped again and grab the mouse, the game is messed up. There is no power management tab for the touch screen (and the laptop is plugged in anyway) so that doesn't seem to be the issue. And it works again when I do the disable/enable sequence, so it doesn't seem to be due to being dirty or any actual damage to it, since it works again just fine. Why does it keep stopping and how do I get it to just stay on? Edited to add, I checked drivers and it says it's up to date.

Method 1: Run hardware and Device troubleshooter
Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.
Method 2: Un-install and Re-install Drivers
Click on the Start button, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar.
Open Device Manager, expand “Display driver”.
Find and double-click on the driver.
Right-click on the Display driver, and click Uninstall.
Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, please go to the computer manufacturer’s website, download the Windows 10 Graphic driver for your computer and check.
