Disable Dell precision 5540 USB-C charging
In have recently purchased a Dell P2421DC - QHD IPS USB-C Monitor, for using at home with my Dell Precision 5540 laptop. Unfortunatly the monitors power adaptor wattages doesn't meet the system requirements of my laptop for normal operations.
But i still want to use the other USB-C capabilities, so is there an option to disable the USB-C power delivery. So i can use the USB-C cable, without the problems of a lower laptop performance.

@Emmerick_V You'd have to keep the system's own 130W power adapter attached alongside the display connection in order to avoid that result. It's completely fine to have two power sources attached simultaneously, and in fact Dell specifically recommends this for systems connected to displays/docks that don't provide enough power for the attached system. I don't think there's a way to disable USB-C charging on the system or USB Power Delivery on the display side. But even if you could, that would just increase the wear on your battery since you'd be using the battery even when connected to power, which isn't ideal either.
