Dock options for 5482

Hi all I am about to acquire a Inspiron 2-in-one 5482, i7 with discrete display adapter (nVidia MX130) option, and I am having some issues deciding on the dock for this set up. Together with the notebook, a P2415Q display (4k 24") I has been advised by Dell representative to go with D6000 dock, tough I have read on this forum where another user asked options on docks for the 7000 series, and the suggestion is to go with WD19 USB-C, and honestly that would be my pick too since it has the power button, which later I found on this same thread that it might not work. The D6000 uses DisplayLink, which it is also not clear if it will use the GPU or CPU to display 4k on the monitor. The WD19 uses the display port features, so my understanding is that it will use the GPU, which is what I am looking forward due to the option on the discrete display adapter. Question here is, the D6000 or WD19? I am aware that the button might not work since the BIOS may not recognize it, tough a firmware update for WD19 might be on it's way and hopefully it would support. Also, the D6000 is 65w powered while WD19 is 180w (the option I have here in my country). Since I plan to use external hard drive which is usb powered, it might get into issues due to the low power on D6000. Any suggestions or insights? Prices are very close on each other, I am still choosing WD19, though I'd like to hear options. Thanks a lot!

Great to hear that, thanks for your reply. Just another question, are you able to use the power button to power on your laptop when connected to the dock? Thanks again
