Does Dell G7 15 have issues regarding upgrading RAMs?

Have anyone tried upgrading Dell G7 15 to 32GB RAM? And if you did, which brand did you use? I saw on Reddit that some people having issue upgrading to 32GB RAM. Example:

1 2 3 4 5

Edit: changing titles to match the question and to catch Dell attention.

I upgraded mine successfully to 32 gigs of DDR-4  2666mhz.

I used crucial ram   model number: CT2K16G4SFD8266

Has been working great for a few months now, also works in dual channel mode no problem.

so, anyone that needs to upgrade and just wants 2666mhz  dual channel and 32gigs of ram, I can vouch that it works.

Obviously, it's expensive, so I am going to recommend you do what I did, buy it directly from crucial, that way you make sure you have a warranty and nothing shady happens if you have a failure or someone sends you the wrong model.

Dell 7588 G7 - The one I bought was the 8gb with 256gb ssd.

With this 32 gigs of ram and a 2tb hdd added and upgraded thermal paste and pads, this thing is quite a formidable machine. Heck of a work laptop, and has tackled any task I have thrown at it.

So in BIOS 1.9, can we now use XMP ram?

After my BIOS Update my Crucial 32GB RAM started giving the 4,2Code error for RAM failure, every now and then I'd get a boot but most times it'll hand on the led display for the faulty code.. I took out a 16GB and put the original 4GBRam in there. laptop has been working fine with about 20gb. I run into issues when I have x2 16GB at once.. any recommendations on a working pair would be appreciated. Dell G7 7588
