G15 5511 Alien Ware Command Center - no overclock available

Hello

Prior to my laptop getting service I was able to use Alien Ware Command Center to overclock my laptop.

But after re-installing Windows and drivers I do not seem to see the ability to overclock?

Any thoughts and/or ideas?

Thank you,

Dwight

I must have remembered this incorrectly.  I was watching the CPU performance in the task manager.

For what it is worth I ran the 3DMark game bench mark and the computer gave a 8.8 out of 10 with a ranking of 'Great.'    No over-clock but I did have power management in the performance setting.

I'm having the same problem.

I installed:

- Alien Command Center version 5.4.16

- Alien OC Controls version 1.3.60

- BIOS 1.10.1

I haven't seen any utilities for actually overclocking the cpu.  I have different performance settings available in command center, though.  You can use afterburner to overclock the gpu.  IIRC, think the highest score on time spy that I've managed was 9127 or thereabouts.

note:  Cannot edit above post at this time.  The 9127 was with +170 gpu clock, and gpu memory, and a good laptop cooling pad.  AW command center in "performance" and psu used.
