How connecting two monitors to laptoop, which has one hdmi
hi, i have dell inspiron 5570, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s), Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8,00 GB, 1TB HDD. Laptoop has usb-type c port. But does have Thunderbolt 3. How can I connect a second monitor without using the docking station/external usb video card? Can i use USB-C HDMI Adapter, and what it should be?

Yes, you can use a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable or dongle, whichever one makes sense based on the display you're trying to use. If your display has both DisplayPort and HDMI, then I would recommend using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable because the USB-C port sends a DisplayPort signal anyway. A USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter therefore has to have a built-in converter chip to change that to HDMI, which adds cost and complexity and is just one more potential problem source. Technically you could run multiple displays from just that USB-C port if you had displays that supported DisplayPort daisy chaining or you purchased a USB-C DisplayPort MST hub, but if you only need two displays, using one from USB-C and one from the system's built-in HDMI port is a simple solution.
