Inspiron 13 7000 - battery error message
I purchased an Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 laptop approximately 3 years ago, so I could take to college classes with me, do homework, etc.
My battery life lately has been awful. When fully charged at 100%, I unplug it and the battery will be dead within 30-35 minutes. Tonight, I received a message on my screen saying that my battery can no longer work for my computer.
I don't know anything about computers, and with stores closed now, I can't go to Best Buy (where I purchased it) and talk to them. Is there something I can do to fix this, or do I really need to buy a new battery. If I need to purchase a new battery, can someone tell me specifically what battery to buy? Is it something that I can change myself (I'm NOT a techy person), or do I need to wait until stores are open again and take it to the store (which would be costly to do, and I don't have the funds).

Lifetime of batteries is 2-4 years.
Remove the battery and plug into wall outlet to continue using the laptop.

If I need to purchase a new battery, can someone tell me specifically what battery to buy? Is it something that I can change myself (I'm NOT a techy person)

If you are handy with tools and comfortable opening computer base cover, the job should be an easily one for you to do. But before attempting to do this task, you should view service manual (or Owner's Manual).
