Inspiron 15-3502
I have just bought this laptop which has 4GB DDR4 and 128GB SSD. I did not realise the limitations of Windows 10 S (I want to install Sky go).
What are the implications if I switch to say Windows Pro or Home? Does the machine have sufficient memory to run these programs?

As per the specs here, the system does support Windows 10 Home and pro. I would suggest replacing the 4 GB RAM module with an 8 GB RAM module. And I would also suggest that down the road you may want to increase the SSD or add another SSD. The system supports up to a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD and a 2.5" SATA SSD up to 2 TB.

You're very likely to find 4G severely limiting -- yo u may want to consider replacing the 4G module with an 8 (there's only one memory slot).
Also note that while you can switch from 10 S to 10 -- it's a one-way street - once you do, you cannot revert. Also note that 10 Pro requires a $99 license key purchase if that's what you want to do -- the upgrade from 10 S to 10 Pro is not free.

You can switch from S mode to home without charge - that said, bear in mind it's one-way - you cannot go back (even by reinstalling Windows) once you've switched.

There's only one slot -- so the 4 needs to be replaced with an 8 to upgrade.

One question JOcean, to get 8 GB Ram, do I have to replace the existing 4 GB RAM storage or is there a possibilty to add a second 4 GB Ram storage?
