Inspiron 15 5567 Touchpad Stopped Working

Recently I replaced the battery in my laptop. When I put it back together the touch pad would not work correctly. I took it apart to see if I messed something up. I could see nothing wrong. I can move the cursor around with a finger but the tap and click button functions do not work. I tried updating the driver but could not find one available. I also deleted the file in the device manager thinking when I restarted the computer it would reload it.  

So now I'm stuck with using a mouse for everything. Can anyone give my an idea what I need to do to get it functioning again?
