Inspiron 15-5567, charging light flashing

Question

The light on my laptop which indicates if the battery is charging recently started flashing white out of nowhere. The actual charging of the battery isn't affected at all. The light will even flash when the laptop isn't plugged in. I've tried restarting and updating but it didn't help.

That flashing light indicates hard drive activity. Press the Fn+H keys to toggle it back to battery status light. See the Inspiron 15-5567 online Setup and Specifications PDF, page 8 =

How long have you been having this issue? Has there been recent software or hardware changes made?

Is the light blinking in a particular manner like – 2 amber followed by 3 white? Please disconnect the power cord, press & hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Connect the power cord back in & start the computer, check if the light status changes.

Open up your laptop screws carefully using small star type screw driver prise open the back cover to access the RAM chips prise open the locks carefully and very gently with dried and clean hands DO NOT USE ANY TOOL to take out the RAM

clean the ram chips with a dry clean cloth remove any dust on the PCB with a brush and then put back the RAM chips carefully so that the locms are set in. After that close the back cover and power on your laptop if it works fine put the laptop to lower off mode again that is shut it down. Then put back the screws and gently gighteen each screw. Hope this solves ghe issue of RAM not recpgnized.

@PIPE tavera​ I have already checked this but this doesn't solve my issue. Also, the RAMs are working fine. Both 8 GB RAMs are showing up on Task Manager. I recently upgraded my RAM and this replacement battery they sent because mine is still under warranty. RAM and battery are the only hardware changes. The amber light is still blinking away as I type this with the power adapter. Please guys... any solution?
