I have been into bios and it user password is locked need help unlocking this. If anyone knows how to get around this would be grateful

Thanks @nyc10036

Just removed it for now.

I did not see anything in the rules pertaining to it but I am asking the Mods and Admin for a judgment.

The only thing I see is this???

"Do not submit software or descriptions of processes that break or otherwise work around digital rights management software or hardware."

I will go by what they say???

Regards,

U2

I am a bit confused by the question.

If you have a BIOS that is locked with a password that you do not know, updating the BIOS isn't possible.

Providing a program for removing BIOS passwords?

Isn't that against Dell forum rules?

Regarding the BIOS password bypass.

I have always seen posts by the Dell employees that whoever had the problem needed to contact Dell.  And Dell charges for this unlock service.
