Inspiron 16 7610 touchpad issues

Hi! I received this Inspiron 16 7610 as a gift from my grandfather for my high school graduation in July of 2022. I use it at least 10-12 hours a day for my college major, which is very technology oriented. My first issues with the touchpad right after I moved into school in August of 2022 and persisted throughout the entire semester. I was able to send it to Houston to get it "fixed", and they sent it back relatively quick. It lasted 2 maybe 3 weeks before the trackpad started acting up again, and I was able to make it through until my spring break which ended not even 2 weeks ago. This time, I had a Dell Technician come to my house, where I physically watched him replace the touchpad. Yesterday, marking exactly two weeks since that repair, you guessed it, the touchpad is acting up once again. Now if you're wondering what I mean by "acting up", it persistently has erratic and jumpy movements to which it makes it near impossible to complete my homework and participate in things in class. After some research, I learned that the cause of this issue is due to a static buildup in the chassis, which happens to be right below where the touchpad is. Obviously the only thing I can do to avoid it is by using a USB mouse, however multiple of my classes have those little fold up desks to where there's absolutely no room to use one. I'm extremely flustered at the moment, as my warranty expires in less than 3 months, obviously I can't get my money back, and as I mentioned before I use this laptop for about half the day in a heavily technology oriented major in college, and the best Dell can do is replace the touchpad which only temporarily suppresses the issue for 2-3 weeks. I've seen that there is a way to fix it by opening the device up yourself and putting a piece of tin foil, but I personally don't want to do that.
