@DJM1967  Typical docking station solutions plug into Thunderbolt 3 or else a USB-C port where the system supports video output from it and charging from it.  But your system doesn't have either of those.  As a result, the only type of docking stations you could use would be the ones that use "indirect display" technology like DisplayLink (not to be confused with DisplayPort).  Those involve transmitting video as USB data, so they don't rely on native GPU outputs.  But DisplayLink comes with some drawbacks that can be significant in some use cases, which I wrote about in detail in the post marked as the answer in this thread.  And also note that even if you were ok with that, the docking station wouldn't charge your laptop since again, you just don't have the right connector for that.  And if even DisplayLink is unacceptable for your purposes, then unfortunately you don't have the right system for your goals.  You'd instead have to do something like plug a display into the HDMI output and then a USB hub into the USB port, and then whatever else you wanted into the USB hub.

You don't need a dock to attach an ext usb keyboard or an external monitor. Just use a monitor with the same port as the computer. Your model has an hdmi port for a monitor.
