Inspiron 5379 - Graphical glitches on wake-up/boot-up
Hello,
For the past several days I have had a disconcerting problem with my Inspiron 5379. For the first 10-15 seconds after I start up (from off) or wake up (lifting the lid and logging in) the laptop display has some graphical glitches that often go full screen or just partly for a second with very fine horizontal black and white lines.
This lasts only 10-15 seconds after I log in and then it is completely fine the rest of the time the laptop is in use as long as I do not shutdown or put the lid down and have to log in again.
I have a suspicion this is connected to a Windows update last week, as I recall perhaps Thursday or Friday was when there was an update, and the timeframe lines up with when I recall this problem beginning.
This is not a problem with the LCD screen itself. I have tried updating the graphics driver, Windows tells me it is the most up to date, as does the Dell drivers download page. I have also looked at the BIOS driver, which again is up to date. I cannot rollback the drivers as that button is greyed out under Device Manager > Properties > Drivers.
Hopefully someone can offer some help. Thank you.

I have since replied to the PM's and have been told that they cannot help me and I must ask community members for help here in the forum.
