Inspiron 5482- active pen

Hello,

A year ago I purchased A Dell inspiron 5482 2 in 1 laptop and i want to buy a suitable active pen.

Which active pen should I buy?

I saw the Dell Premium Active Pen PN579X and I wanted to know if it is the only pen that is recomended for my laptop?

Are there any other recomended active pen that i can buy?

Thanks

First thing to verify before buying:  the support for an active pen is optional on this model.  If your system is pen-compatible, it will have a sticker stating that on the palmrest.  If it did not come with that sticker, it's a touchscreen - not a digitizing screen.  In that case, you can use a capacitive stylus but will not have the pressure-sensitive pen features.

If you do have that sticker, that's the pen this model supports.

Please let us know the serial number (PPID )of the battery. PPID is a combination of numbers and alphabet and usually starts with CN/KR. In the text format so that we can verify it and help you.

(Note: PPID is a 21-digit alphanumeric code)

Thanks for the answer.

YES, I have that "active pen support" sticker on my laptop.

Is there another active pen thate reccomended for this laptop or that the Premium Active Pen PN579X is the only active pen that reccomended for this laptop?
