Inspiron 5515 glitching display during start up
When I start up my Inspiron 5515 little white dots track across the screen in a single horizontal line as the white dell logo against black background is loading. It then glitches (a number or lines across the screen) before opening the login/welcome screen.
Nothing else appears to be wrong. However, I am mindful of checking to see if anyone else has had this problem as I am still covered under warranty if it is a faulty product. The laptop is 5 months old and had no drops/damage (in fact a very precious life). I have had ribbon cable issues on previous laptops among other issues so I am a bit nervous about this.

Boot into safe mode.
Safe mode allows your computer to load Windows without activating all drivers and applications. This can help if you are dealing with a system-critical problem that interferes with the normal Windows operation on your computer.
While in safe mode, you can troubleshoot Windows and try to identify the culprit that triggers the operating system to fail. Here’s how to boot into Safe Mode on your Dell Inspiron laptop using Windows platform:
If your laptop is able to boot in safe mode without being stuck or any errors, then the problem is likely triggered by third-party applications installed on your computer, a firewall or computer virus. You may then proceed to troubleshoot your computer programs and resolve the underlying cause.
