Inspiron 5548 does not turn on
My laptop was just okay this morning but this afternoon, it suddenly stopped working.
I've tried plugging in the charger, the light inidator for charger was on but my laptop wont still turn on. What should i do? Thanks

Unplug the system and disconnect the battery. Hold the power button for 30 sec. Remove and reinstall the memory module(s).
Plug the adapter in but leave the battery disconnected. If the system powers up, reconnect the battery and try again. If it then won't, the battery is bad; replace it with a new one.
If it still won't power up, the mainboard is bad.

Hi. Thanks for the solution but ny laptoo has a built-in battery .how do I remove it? Should I bring it to a technician?

You'll need to remove the base cover and unplug the battery from the system board (it's not necessary to remove the battery - just disconnect it).

Thank you for your message. As ejn63 mentioned, disconnect the power cord, press & hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Connect the power cord back in & start the computer. Check if the power button light blinks in a particular manner, white or amber.
Was the BIOS updated recently or any changes made to BIOS?

There was no changes with the bios.
But when I plug in the charger. The color is white.
When I remove the charger and tried to turn it on, there was an orange light on the indicator and it was gone after a second

Please check if you can get to the BIOS screen press F2 on startup. If you can get into BIOS check the version of BIOS installed.
The light blinks amber when the battery charge is low.
If you are comfortable, please try the steps provided by ejn63 to remove the battery * start the computer without the battery & check if the system boots.
