Inspiron 5570 egpu through Type-C

Can I connect eGPU through the Type-C port on My Inspiron 5570? (i5 8th Gen/1TB/8GB/2GB AMD 530/Win10)

If your laptops Type-C USB supports Thunderbolt 3 - yes you can. Check if ther is "thunder" symbol near usb slot. But as far as I know and find out in 5570/5770 there is no thunderbolt 3 in these models, so I would say that you don't have thunderbolt 3 and you can't use eGPU via that slot.

The answer above is correct, although even some systems that have Thunderbolt 3 seem to have trouble running eGPUs.  It could be a case of older Thunderbolt controller firmware not working well and some systems not having newer firmware packages available.  But regular USB-C does not allow you to use a GPU.  Many (but not all) USB-C ports support providing a DisplayPort video output, but an eGPU requires a PCIe connection, which is only available with Thunderbolt 3.
