Inspiron 7391 thunderbolt specs?
I've been searching manuals and support discussions and cannot find specs on the thunderbolt port power delivery for a new Inspiron 13 7000 (7391). The only thing I found was "Supports Power Delivery that enables two-way power supply between devices." However, I've plugged in several chargers and keep getting the message that it's not a supported charger.
Does anyone know what is required?
Is it the 65W version used by some of the lattitudes http://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/accessories/apd/492-BCBI
or possi bly the 45W version for some XPS systems? http://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/accessories/apd/492-BBWZ

@cecampbell Ideally you’d want a USB-C power source that supplies at least as much wattage as the power adapter that came with the system, which I’m guessing will be 45W, but check the power adapter specs printed on the adapter itself to confirm. What are the wattage outputs of the USB-C sources you’ve tried? If you’re trying phone and tablet chargers, don’t expect those to work. But if the 7391 does in fact support two-way USB PD, then any USB PD power source that supplies at least that wattage should be fine. I have sources made by Anker, Nekteck, Satechi, and RAVPower with outputs ranging from 60-90W, and they all work fine with all of my Dell and non-Dell laptops.

This laptop came with a standard charger at 65W. I am planning to order a USB-C charger and want to make sure it meets the required specs. This will allow me to run the power into a docking station that supports up to 100W power pass through, and just keep my standard charger for when I'm remote or not on the dock. So it sounds like I should order the 65W USB-C charger.
