[Inspiron 7567] Some keyboard keys not working
Hello, some of my keys (B, N, ?, Space, Right Alt, and Arrows) stopped working out of the blue. They were working perfectly fine a few hours ago when I had to leave and simply closed my laptop. Now that I came back they stopped working. I didn't spill or drop anything on the laptop so I'm not sure what went wrong.
I already uninstalled the keyboard drivers and restarted the laptop. I opened it up and made sure the ribbon cable was well connected. Lastly I ran my laptop in safe mode and my keys still didn't work, does that mean that it's a hardware issue? Any ideas on what else I can try?
The keyboard on this model seems difficult to replace because it has those plastic seals instead of screws.
Edit: Forgot to mention that my laptop is out of warranty, so sending it in isn't really an option.

Try attaching a usb keyboard to check if that works. If it does, replace the keyboard. Service manual you probably already checked-- https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/inspiron-15-7567-laptop_service-manual_en-us.pdf

I used a bluetooth keyboard and the keys worked fine. Thanks for the manual but unfortunately it doesn't show how to replace just the keyboard, only the entire palm rest (which is hard to find online for cheap).

On this model, you must replace the palmrest assembly - the keyboard is not a separately replaceable part. This is becoming more and more common (most of the new Inspiron, XPS and many systems from other manufacturers are designed this way).

UPDATE: Ok so today my keyboard magically fixed itself. I hadn't tried any fixes for the past few days and today when I opened my laptop all the keys were working as normal, weird.
