Inspiron BIOS update and Windows 11

Hello,

I have an Inspiron 5570. I installed Windows 11 on it last week and have just run Support Assist. It recommended a BIOS update, which I did - it seems to have worked OK.

Since the laptop restarted as part of the update, I have been unable to log in to Windows. When typing my Windows PIN, the characters I am typing do not appear in the PIN text box at all, even though I have clicked in the box. Or, if they do, they are repeated several times even though I have pressed the key only once. I have a long password and it is impossible to put the correct password into the PIN text box.

I am writing this on another laptop as I am unable to login to my Inspiron.
