Inspiron 15 7000 - No Networks Found
Like many others we seem to be having wifi issues with out Inspiron 15 7000.
Most of the time the wifi icon doesn't even show up in the connection options unless I disable and re-enable to adapter. If the icon shows it never shows any networks, just No Networks Found. Our other laptops and phones show our network and neighbor's networks and this Inspiron used to show them too. It's not our home network.
From other posts I looked for SmartByte to remove it but it was not listed under Uninstall Programs.
Dell Support Assist and the Dell site say we have the latest drivers.
There is no warning in Device Manager for the Wireless entry. I tried disabling it there and detecting changes so it would start again, but that didn't help either.
Thanks for any help. The whole point of having a laptop is to be able to use it on the go.
Thanks.

First, I like to apology for asking the question again but we do need exact Dell model number for the computer.
There are a lot of Dell computers listed as Inspiron 7000 series. Please type MSINFO32 onto search box, stroll down to System Model, you should now see exact Dell model number in the System Information application.
Example: Dell Inspiron 15 7559 ( 7000 series)

If I am reading your posts correctly, you can see the Network adapter driver listed in device manager?
By the way. you tried running Network Adapter Troubleshooter to see if can get the network to work again.
Fix network connection issues in Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Type Settings onto search box, select Update & Security, Troubleshoot, Additional Troubleshooters, and then Network Adapter.

I have the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series and have had this problem for years of the laptop all of a sudden lose internet connection (wi-fi). I just searched the device manager>network adapters>Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, double clicked to open and found that it was “disabled”. I “enabled” it and it worked to bring up the wi-if connections available. I hope it stays “enabled”

Hello MakeGoodChoices
Please install latest network driver (AC-3160) onto the computer. Just click on your Dell model number in link below. After, select Find drivers and then search for the AC-3160 driver.

Or use Support Assist application to search for latest network driver.

Lastly, if you have not done so yet, uninstall SmartByte application to see if it will make any difference.
Check out the information in link below, hopefully it will be a help to you. Good Luck.

I am having the exact same issue with my laptop.
I have a Dell Inspiron 14 7405 2n1 laptop which I bought about 3 months ago.
Sometime it works great and I can connect to the internet immediately. Other times the option to connect to a wifi connection does not appear at all.
I have tried the Network Reset option multiple times and it will only work sometimes. I have been through the device manager like many suggest and there is a yellow triangle next to the "Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz" adapter.
I am unsure of what to do after in order to fix this as it seems like nothing I do is working. This is increasingly frustrating and I would love some advice if anyone has some.
