Inspiron G7 15 7500, cannot turn on Dynamic Chassis Light

Hello Everyone,

Just received my Inspiron G7 15 7500. In the Inspiron G7 15 7500 Setup and Specification documentation page 9 #5, it says the "Dynamic Chassis Light" can be controlled using the Alienware Command Center.

Is the Dell logo below the monitor supposed to light up. I found nowhere in the 'Command Center' that shows anything about this.

Thanks for any help.

Curtis

I was sent an Email last night from the computer support team. They asked me to send them my Service Number, so that they could look in to it better.

The 'return' email was 'NOREPLY' so it did not go through. Hopefully you'll try again.

Thank You

Greetings!

I just read the manual just a while ago and saw the "Dynamic Chassis Light" feature as well.

But no. It's not supposed to light up. It's the same material used on the logo behind the display. I think the Dynamic Chassis Light is supposed to be pointed at the light bar under the laptop, and that the pointer in the manual just mistakenly pointed too far and to the small Dell logo.

Hopefully that answers your 5 month old question, Curtis!
