Internal HDD for Inspiron 5570

. I have a 5570 laptop in which I want to replace the internal hdd cause it's showing no bootable device found.

I'm in confusion which hdd to buy ... And I found a best deal on Seagate barracuda with serial no. ST1000LM048 but original was Seagate Mobile HDD ST1000LM035 both r havin same rpm i.e. 5400 same rd/wr speed...

So which one should I proceed to buy...??????

Any standard 2.5" SATA drive will work -- that said, you're really not going to save much buying a hard drive relative to buying a solid state drive at this point -- for the $20 or so difference, not only will the SSD be much quieter and power efficient, it will also be more reliable and far faster.

There are plenty of 1T SATA SSDs to choose from, all of which are better choices.

If you are extremely price-constrained, look at the WD Blue or Black hard drives.  Either is much more likely to be reliable than any competing drive from Seagate.

This appears to duplicate your other thread. As I wrote there:

If you're buying a HDD, there's no need to get one with the same speed as your current HDD. 5400 is slow. A 7200 RPM drive would be faster. But, even an inexpensive SSD, such as the MX500 you looked at earlier, would make your laptop faster and noticeably more responsive.

IMHO, there's no good reason to buy an HDD, since SSDs aren't much more expensive and the performance difference is huge. And, the very good Crucial MX500 SSDs appear to be on sale pricing right now.
