Issue with Older Game - Inspiron 5770 Drivers
I've been having issues running The Witcher and was hoping a newer video driver would correct the issue. Would it be ok to try installing the newest video drivers from AMD or Intel? The ones provided by Dell are a bit out of date. Also, I am sporadically getting the error message "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" for random applications and games.

Hi @LSUFAN51 ,
I've tried all of these solutions and the issue persists. According to this thread it appears my issue could be related to the v.1.2.3 BIOS.

I'm assuming windows 10 is on the computer....
Yes, you can update video drivers from the manufacturer's website but before you update, I suggest backing up windows 10 or create restore point just in case something goes wrong.

Also, try these steps before updating Video drivers from manufacturer:
1. Check Microsoft to see if there are updated Graphic (Video) driver
- Type Device Manager onto [Cortana]search box, stroll down to Display Adapters and then expand it. Right click each Graphic drivers, and then select Update.
If there are no updates:
2. Run games in the Compatibility Mode
Make older apps or programs compatible with Windows 10 ...

It does appear BIOS version 1.2.3 is causing the problem. Unfortunate, Dell doesn't make it easy to downgrade the BIOS. Hopefully one of the Dell reps (DellCares), here on the forum, see this problem and reported to the Dell team. Thanks for the thread for others to see with the same problem.
