Issues after replacing Defective Hard Drive on Insprion 3537 "We couldnt find any drives"
Hi,
My original hard drive (HDD( on my Dell Inspiron 3537 stopped working so I decided to replace it on yesterday after purchasing one from Best Buy (SSD). Of course it was completely empty so I used the Windows 8/10 Media creation tool to install the ISO file on my usb. After doing so, I plugged it into my laptop and booted from USB. It showed the windows symbol then asked me to selected the language and region. Following it asked me what kind of installation so of course I chose custom installation. The next screen shows, "We couldnt find any drives". This is where I am stuck at. Shouldn't the media creation tool already have the drive on there?

Welcome to the Dell Community @haynesjr34
Power-on and start tapping the "F2" key to go into the BIOS setup.
Under "Advanced" options set "SATA Operation" to "AHCI"
Save and exit.
Then try to install W10 again.
Best regards,
