Issues getting Microphone to work

My laptop is a Inspiron 13-7378 and my internal microphone is not working. It's turned on and I have given it has access to all my applications. I've checked and updated my laptop, tried the voice recorder, and looked for any solutions online. However none of this has worked and I can't think of what to try next. Any help is appreciated.
