If it came from Dell or a Dell OEM supplier such as parts-people.com, it's a genuine OEM battery. If it came from anywhere else, ask the seller.

Did it end up working well for you? Mine is similar and wasn't sold as from Dell but had electric tape over the part that says Dell. It stopped charging about a year after I bought it.

That's not an OEM battery -- though failure to charge is more likely an issue with the DC jack, plug or mainboard (particularly if the system does recognize the battery).

I bought a battery for my Dell Precision 7740 laptop, model NYFJH, from an online store in the UK. It turned out the store was located in China. I suspect the battery is not genuine, even though it has the Dell markings and logo.
