Laptop crashes after Dell update
Tonight my 5 mo old laptop crashed after installing Dell update. I am unable to access WiFi, unable to remove the corrupted driver and unable to install the current driver on web site. After spending hours with Tech (hung up on by first Tech engineer), I was told I would have to send in my laptop and wait 10-12 days to return. I need my laptop for my remote position. This is unacceptable. Disgusted that this happened all because I clicked on the Dell update tonight.

Thank you for your message. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I will be glad to assist you on this.
What is the Dell driver update you installed? Did you get a notification on Dell Support Assist?
What driver are you trying to install from Support Site? Is it the wireless driver?
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
