Laptop doesn't sync time, keys stop pressing continously and it turns off when unplugged
Ok, so my laptop is behaving really strangely.
For a while I am not able to automatically sync the time. It just won't connect to the site where it syncs the time.
Then, when I have it plugged to the charger it randomly starts a weird problem: I can't press keys continuously (if I hold a key down it will just type one letter), and if I unplug the laptop it turns off. When I turn it back on, I get a message saying that it wasn't able to sync time and the time is wrong.
It used to be less frequent, but now it happens basically everyday.
I've ran tests to see if there was a problem and nothing came up.
Does anyone know what that could be and how to fix it? Thanks

You never posted your exact model number so I cannot refer you to a site for parts but generally the symptoms you describe sound like a weak or dead CMOS (coin cell) battery.

Navigate to Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Date and time > Set the time and date > Internet time > Change settings > check Synchronize with an Internet time server and click Update now.
