Hi, I have a nn5110 that theorically consumes 130 watts (I7 2670 QM and nvidia 525M) But when my battedry died, i Manege to find a batery of 57 watts (11,.1 V and 5200 mhz ). Now, my power supply says 19.5 V and 6.7 A, therefor if i Chartge the computer it might expldoe, right?

Please disconnect from internet while installing as windows update may try to overwrite the driver with the latest one.

Please make a note that you will have to extract the driver first. Once extracted, open device manager and manually update the driver.

Once you have installed the driver, reboot and check device manager shows the older driver version.

Run MSFIXIT for show/hide updates

and Hide the Intel updates so that windows update don't overwrite the driver.

No it won't, computers are smarter than that. Dell firmware is designed in a way that when Temps reaches a certain number, it will turn everything off. Plus the machine will only take as much power as it needs. I have used a notebook for years with 130w power adapter while original was 45w.

Although I would always recommend using OEM branded batteries for everything (notebook, cellphone etc) cause they have gone through qual checks and are safer thus more expensive. Here inn india no one buys batteries from OEM, (literally no one) cause after market batteries are so cheap and I have see none getting exploded.
